A cosmic exploration puzzle game
Cocoon is a puzzle adventure game where the player will move between different worlds that are contained within orbs that the player can carry on their back. The mechanic of leaping between worlds is crucial to the gameplay and is the key to solving intricate puzzles that the player will face in this platformer game.
Similar to games like The Witness and Braid, Cocoon aims to deliver a unique take on your typical puzzle games. The game is played in a top-down 3D style and features a cartoonish low-poly style of art.
Explore strange new worlds
At the core of Cocoon is the ability for the player to jump between worlds, each with its own distinct look and feel. Moving between worlds is crucial in solving some of the puzzles the player will face, including combining, manipulating, and rearranging those worlds. The worlds themselves are contained in small orbs that the player can carry around with them.
The bulk of the gameplay lies in the solving of the aforementioned intricate puzzles, but it also includes some guardians who are protecting each of the worlds. The player must battle these guardians, and each one requires the player to master a new mechanic to defeat them. The worlds are also large and detailed enough to make exploration a significant gameplay element.
With its use of low-poly 3D graphics, Cocoon creates a unique visual experience for players to admire. The smooth animations allow players to explore numerous unique worlds with ease and also grant players the ability to go up against mighty enemies without worrying about clunky movements hindering their battle abilities. All of these add up to a cinematic experience that reels players into the stunning in-game world and unique environments.
What does hotfix number one do?
After Cocoon’s official release comes its first hotfix patch that fixes issues on resolution, frame rate, achievements, and more. To enhance the visual experience, the game’s resolution now defaults to the maximum 16:9 resolution supported by the player’s system. Target FPS values displayed in the UI were also corrected. Besides that, a more reliable system for checking and unlocking achievements has also been implemented, prompting a more robust process upon booting the game. Gameplay-wise, the developers have fixed two minor bugs related to orb bots getting stuck and added a hint for the last password puzzle to give the players a tiny nudge in the right direction.
A visually interesting, challenging game
The low-poly art style used in Cocoon is cohesive and pleasing to the eye. The game is played from a top-down perspective, allowing the player to see much of the surrounding area. At the same time, the game features a gradual difficulty curve that should make players of all skill levels feel welcome while still being challenging enough in the later stages.

COCOON - real user review.
Like, like, like. At first I misunderstood this program, and thought it was another search engine purporting to be private .. alas, when I deleted all of my other "privacy" FireFox ad-ons, mostly to get rid of redundancies ... poof, I got it - this is something of which, well, is like a cocoon. You create an account, later log-into account (1.5 nano seconds later) and, you, the user, are now enveloped in a blanket, yes again, cocoon, of protection. Okay, I am testing this, through a layman's efforts; running CCleaner after using it, to see what CC records as on my computer - of course I do a system cache dump, too - it seems that some cache gets through, not much, but some ... the numbers are consistant, however, leading me to believe that it's from cocoon. But, I am not sure.
Pros:
After I psychologically wrapped my brain arounds it easy to understand concept, I am not using this, and only this, for internet protection.
Cons:
No Cache preferences; I prefer for Cocoon to not remember anything; what's the point, I hate history, and "junk." Alas, I am searching for cache options. Cannot find. So far, so good. Have yet to use mailslots, but will soon. More
