TMPGenc turns your .AVI files and movies into MPEG1, the file that is supported by your common DVD under the VCD (Video CD) standard. The application is very easy to use, you can mix audio and video in a simple operation, cut, paste and mix movies with its fantastic MPEG tool, and quickly export the results to several MEPG standard format types. Once the process is complete all you have to do is rip the results onto a CD using a ripping tool, such as NERO.

Definitely a very complete and efficient tool with which you'll be able to view .avi files on any DVD reader.
