TreeSize

TreeSize is a program that allows you to see in a very intuitive way how much space each of the folders on your different hard disks occupies. As a result, you will be able to know at a glance which files or apps are taking up more space than you thought.

Using TreeSize is pretty simple. The first thing to do is to scan any of your hard disks, from the Scan tab. Depending on the size of the disk and how much space is occupied on it, this analysis can take from a few seconds to several minutes. Ideally, during this time, in any case, you should let the program work without altering the contents of the disk being analyzed.

Once the analysis is finished, you can take a quick look at the distribution of your disk space. By default, TreeSize will sort the directories in descending order: from the folder that occupies the most space on the entire disk, to those that occupy the least (which will usually be several empty folders). By clicking on any directory you will be able to display all the subfolders that it contains, seeing in turn how much each one of them occupies.

One of the most interesting aspects of TreeSize is that it allows you to take direct action on any folder. You will only need to right click on any directory or any group of files to delete, copy, paste, compress, etc. So, if you find something that does not fit, you can delete it with a single click.

TreeSize is a very useful app, thanks to which you can easily clean up your hard disks in a matter of seconds. The program is also very intuitive, has several different visualization options, and allows you to carry out any action directly from the program interface.
